So, it's been a while coughoverayearcough since I've updated this.
I would blame it on college but although it feels longer, I've really only been here for half a year now.

So for anyone who still cares
a lot has changed.

Let's see, since my last journal entry I got tired of my wannabe jrock mullet cut, so I had my aspiring hairdresser sister cut it into a short bob. Shortly after, I had cut it again and dyed it completely bleach blond. Fun stuff.
I got a mac = LOVE.
Also new 24" external monitor = my baby.
I also mentioned my "friend" in my last journal entry. I had actually fallen head over heels in love with him, and we started dating. Although he used to live in my hometown, he'd moved to a place four hours away before I even had the courage to talk to him. We had been together long distance for almost a year when I moved to a city half an hour away from him to go to college. Unlike we had predicted, this didn't make things any better.
So I was at college orientation meeting cool new peeps, and my parents and I unexpectedly came across two other Computer Graphic Arts majors, both guys. When we returned home from orientation my dad was going on about how one of the boys liked me. So I was like, seriously dad? He always said things like that, so I didn't think anything of it.
I ended up becoming best friends with that boy.
It was later I realized that he was doing more for me than my long distance boyfriend had ever been able to do for me in the two days of every month he had come to visit me.
Then my best friend confessed to me that he liked me.
How do dads always know this stuff?
Things got a little dramatic, aaand long story short, my boyfriend broke up with me.
I was single for about a week when I totally had a crush on this cute jackass who lived in my best friend's hall.
Think that anything even happened that makes him relevant to this story? Well nope, that was actually totally pointless...
So my best guy friend and I shared a circle of friends, we were in the same major, we had a bunch of classes together, and obviously had so much more in common, so it was unavoidable that we started dating.
We still are now. Yay.
Oh, then I actually dyed all my hair back to it's natural color. For once.
So since college and relationships had been stressing me out, my grandparents took my mom and I to their house in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for new years.
You know once you're down there, all your problems seem to just disappear. You sleep in late and have siestas everyday, the city is small enough for everything to be in walking distance, they don't have telephone or internet access in their house, it's beautiful and the weather is great, and the best part, the drinking age is only eighteen. Hell yes.
New years was breathtaking there.
Unfortunately though, we definitely picked the worst possible time to make the drive home.
Get this. We left the house at 9:00 am Saturday morning. We arrived in line to cross the border at 10:00 pm that night. We didn't actually reach the border until 5:00 pm Sunday night.
We got home at midnight that same night.
What was supposed to be an 18 hour drive turned out to be more than a 30 hour drive.
Oh, and that whole time we were waiting in line? We only moved up in line about one car length every fifteen minutes. Half the time all the cars in all the lines were turned off. People were running out of gas, and had to push their cars. The only bathroom was a thirty minute walk away. It was like, seriously? What. The. Fuck.
So when I got home I got the 18-inch hair extensions I had gotten for Christmas braided in. Haha.
And naturally, I couldn't complain about the four hour drive to meet my new boyfriend's family.
They're awesome, like hands down.
P.s. I love Jingles the half deaf half blind kitty.
His mom drove us back to school last month
and now here we are in real time!
Amazing.
As for the future?
I'm going to see freaking dj SiSeN and the Millionaires in the next few weeks. Win.
